Random Acts of Kindness

Random acts of Kindness.jpgI became a RAKtivist and started Sage’s Monthly Random Act of Kindness (RAK) challenges to promote love and compassion. Life is hard and sometimes the smallest gesture from family, friends or even strangers can brighten anyone’s day.

As a romance writer, I’m a strong believer in the power of love. It’s through the love and support from my family, friends and community that I’m able to fight and win against my battle with depression. I realized doing little nice things for people not only made others feel good, but it’s helping me heal from the inside out.

I hope you will help me make a little difference in the lives of people all over the world with these RAK challenges!

2019

January Challenge:

New Year. New Me. This month’s Random Act of Kindness is all about taking care of ourselves! Lets write down our goals and take care of our mind and body. Treat yourself to something just for you everyday. Even if its just reading a book, watching that Romance movie for the 20th time or spend a day at the spa. Take the time this month to focus on what makes you happy and do it!

February Challenge:

Valentines for family, friends and coworkers!

Valentines Day isn’t just for Lovers. Its a day to celebrate LOVE. For this month’s RAK challenge, give valentines to your friends, family and/or coworkers. Either the little cute ones the kids pass out at school or hand-made cards, the sentiments will surely make someones day!

March Challenge:

Sharing is Caring!

We spend much of our time with our online friends and communities, so this month, lets celebrate our kinship!  For this month’s challenge, how about sharing with any or all of your social media platforms your favorite food or drink recipes! I’ll be sharing a few of mine own favorites in my Facebook group – Sage’s Sirens!  You should totally join the group!

April Challenge:

Ebooks are life!

I love to read, but as much as I love the look, feel and smell of a book (yes, I smell my books) I love that I have a pocket size library on my phone. Audio books and ebooks are the best thing since sliced bread! So for this month’s challenge, gift one of your friends your favorite ebook/or audiobook. I’ll be gifting 5 ebooks from some of my favorites (and one ebook of my newest novella) this month in my Facebook group – Sage’s Sirens!  You should totally join the group!
