Getting Healthy!
One of my favorite things these days is the Weight Watchers program! With 30 years of experience with diets, (My first diet when I was 10 years old, but please don’t do the math for my age – I’m forever 29) this is the first program that allows me to learn healthy eating habits and to be accountable for everything I put in my mouth. At the same time, I can still enjoy dinners with friends and family without feeling deprived or excluded. Over the past few months, Weight Watchers has totally changed the way I view healthy eating and I’m so excited about this new chapter of my life. January’s Monthly Favorite Reads!
Audible has become my saving grace lately. While most people like to listen to music when they work or drive, I prefer Audiobooks. To be honest, I wouldn’t be able to get through a full days work at the day job without them. Here are some of my favorites this month.
The only thing about me that’s a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I’ve got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I’m perfectly fine with that. But when some random guy suggests I might not be eating alone if I’d ordered a salad instead of a hamburger I’m shocked silent, which is a feat, trust me.
That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He’s hot. He’s funny… And he’s just apologized for being late for our “date” then glared at the fat-shaming jerk. Next thing I know, he’s sitting down and ordering himself dinner.
I have no problem telling him I don’t need a pity date…unless of course it’s to my high school reunion next week. Oops where did that last bit come from? And what do I do now that he’s said yes?! Because this is no make-over story, and I think Frankie is using me for something. I just have to figure out what…

Since I’m in the process of losing weight, spending a whole lot of money on clothes I’m not planning on keeping for long is a waste of money that I could be spending on books, but in Michigan, its flipping cold and wearing the same few sweaters gets a little boring. Since my friends and family know that I love both magic and make-up, this Christmas I received two different sets of these really cool make-up brushes. Retail price $13.99 these are perfect for blush, blending, concealer or eyeshadow and/or look adorable on any vanity table.
