One of my favorite things these days is the Weight Watchers program! With 30 years of experience with diets, (My first diet when I was 10 years old, but please don’t do the math for my age – I’m forever 29) this is the first program that allows me to learn healthy eating habits and to be accountable for everything I put in my mouth. At the same time, I can still enjoy dinners with friends and family without feeling deprived or excluded. Over the past few months, Weight Watchers has totally changed the way I view healthy eating and I’m so excited about this new chapter of my life. If like me, you struggle with finding balance – take a look at Weight Watchers.
January’s Monthly Favorite Reads!
Audible has become my saving grace lately. While most people like to listen to music when they work or drive, I prefer Audiobooks. To be honest, I wouldn’t be able to get through a full days work at the day job without them. Here are some of my favorites this month.
The only thing about me that’s a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I’ve got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I’m perfectly fine with that. But when some random guy suggests I might not be eating alone if I’d ordered a salad instead of a hamburger I’m shocked silent, which is a feat, trust me.
That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He’s hot. He’s funny… And he’s just apologized for being late for our “date” then glared at the fat-shaming jerk. Next thing I know, he’s sitting down and ordering himself dinner.
I have no problem telling him I don’t need a pity date…unless of course it’s to my high school reunion next week. Oops where did that last bit come from? And what do I do now that he’s said yes?! Because this is no make-over story, and I think Frankie is using me for something. I just have to figure out what…
When Ahmare’s brother is abducted, there is nothing she won’t do to get him back safely. She is unprepared, however, for the lengths she will have to go to save his life. Paired with a dangerous but enticing prisoner, she embarks on an odyssey into another world.
Duran, betrayed by his father, imprisoned in a dungeon for decades, has survived only because of his thirst for vengeance. He has been biding his time to escape and is shocked to find an unlikely and temporary freedom in the form of a determined young female.
Battling against deadly forces and facing unforeseen peril, the pair are in a race to save Ahmare’s brother. As time runs out, and the unthinkable looms, even true love may not be enough to carry them through.
With a world-famous speaker at their university, Millie Morris and her four woefully single male colleagues make a pact that they’ll all find dates. Unfortunately, Millie has more success helping them make matches online than she does navigating the onslaught of lewd pics in her own feed. But when she creates a fictional name for a new account, Millie finds herself vying for the online attention of a man she sees every day in the flesh.
Head of the class…
Garrett Daniels has this whole life thing figured out. The cocky, charismatic former high school star quarterback is an idolized football coach and “cool” teacher in the hometown where he’s not just a golden boy – he’s platinum. He has good friends, a great house on the lake, and the best damn sidekick a man could ask for: Snoopy, the albino beagle. Then…Callie Carpenter comes home. And knocks him right on his tight end zone.
Back to school… Callie has a pretty sweet life herself…on the other side of the country. But circumstances – that she’d prefer to never speak of again – have brought her back home, helping out her parents and substitute teaching at her old high school. Now she’s facing bickering, raging hormones, constant gossip, awkward weirdness, and drama galore…and that’s just the teachers.
Just like old times… When Garrett offers to show his former high school sweetheart the secrets of his winning teacher ways, Callie jumps at the chance – and then has to stop herself from jumping him.Good friends are all they can ever be.Or…these teachers just might end up getting schooled – hard – by love.
